Reflective Nondual Conversations With Freyja

These conversations offer a spacious and reflective environment within which life may be explored together through dialogue.

The invitation is simply to explore what becomes visible when life is approached from the possibility that the wholeness being sought may not be absent in the first place.

No particular belief, philosophy, spiritual outlook, psychological framework, or non-dual perspective is required.

These conversations offer an opportunity to explore life together through dialogue from the possibility that the wholeness being sought may not be absent in the first place.

Whilst the monthly dialogue meetings explore this possibility in an open group setting, one-to-one conversations provide a more personal space in which the apparent experience of being human may be explored from that same starting point. Relationship, work, creativity, emotional life, uncertainty, neurodiversity, contemplative inquiry, and the ordinary realities of daily living are all welcome within the conversation.

The conversation is allowed to unfold naturally according to what appears. At times it may be practical, contemplative, emotional, philosophical, creative, challenging, supportive, or even therapeutic. No particular direction is imposed in advance and no particular conclusion need be reached. The invitation is simply to explore together what becomes visible through dialogue.

These conversations are informed by a wide range of influences, including more than twelve years working within the Human Givens approach, supporting people facing trauma and emotional challenges, alongside a lifelong exploration of non-duality, contemplative inquiry, symbolic metaphor, education, social entrepreneurship, and human experience itself.

Where useful, our conversations may also draw upon a number of observations, distinctions, and metaphors that have emerged through many years of inquiry. These are not presented as doctrines to be adopted, but simply as conversational tools that may help illuminate aspects of what is appearing.

No particular belief, philosophy, psychological framework, spiritual outlook, or non-dual perspective is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?

No, these conversations are not offered as a formal therapeutic service.

At the same time, my background includes more than twelve years working within the Human Givens approach, including supporting people facing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, emotional distress, and a wide range of mental health and wellbeing challenges.

As a result, conversations may naturally touch upon such themes and may well be experienced as therapeutic, supportive, insightful, emotionally nourishing, or psychologically beneficial.

The distinction is not that questions relating to mental health, wellbeing, trauma, or emotional life are excluded. On the contrary, they may sometimes form an important part of the conversation.

Rather, the conversation itself remains broader than any particular therapeutic framework. It is allowed to unfold naturally according to what appears and may include practical, emotional, philosophical, contemplative, existential, relational, or wellbeing-related themes.

Where additional therapeutic, psychiatric, neurological, addiction, or medical support appears appropriate, this will always be approached openly, carefully, and respectfully.

What is it, then?

At its simplest, it is a reflective conversation.

Some people arrive with practical concerns relating to relationship, work, money, creativity, uncertainty, emotional life, neurodiversity, health, or life direction.

Others arrive with contemplative, existential, psychological, philosophical, or non-dual questions concerning identity, separateness, wholeness, meaning, belonging, care, or the nature of lived experience itself.

The conversations begin from the possibility that nothing is fundamentally missing whilst remaining fully open to the realities of ordinary human life.

Do I need to adopt any particular framework or philosophy?

No.

These conversations do not require any particular philosophical, psychological, spiritual, therapeutic, or contemplative position.

Where useful, observations, distinctions, metaphors, or different perspectives may be explored together. Their purpose is not to provide a system to believe in, but simply to help illuminate aspects of lived experience where they appear helpful or relevant.

You are never required to adopt, agree with, or believe in any particular way of understanding what is discussed.

Who are these conversations for?

These conversations may resonate with people who value reflection, inquiry, emotional honesty, meaningful dialogue, and thoughtful exploration of lived experience.

They may be of interest to therapists, educators, creatives, helping professionals, contemplative practitioners, writers, entrepreneurs, neurodivergent individuals, leaders, or simply those who enjoy exploring life through conversation.

Some people arrive during periods of uncertainty, transition, overwhelm, burnout, grief, relationship difficulty, or practical challenge.

Others arrive simply because they value the experience of conversation itself.

What actually happens in a conversation?

Every conversation is different.

Some begin with a practical concern.

Others begin with a philosophical question.

Some begin with uncertainty and no clear agenda at all.

A conversation may explore relationship, work, livelihood, money, creativity, emotional life, neurodiversity, wellbeing, uncertainty, identity, separateness, belonging, wholeness, contemplative inquiry, or simply whatever appears most alive within the moment itself.

The atmosphere is conversational, spacious, reflective, and unhurried.

There is no rigid script, diagnosis, imposed interpretation, required belief, or predetermined conclusion.

Is this about awakening?

It can be.

For some people the exploration of awakening, non-duality, consciousness, awareness, or wholeness may be central.

For others it may hardly arise at all.

These conversations do not promise awakening, liberation, enlightenment, or any particular spiritual outcome.

At the same time, such questions are entirely welcome where they naturally appear.
